The Crown Hotel, 94 Albert Road, Colne, Lancashire, BB8 0QD

We are situated in the heart of Pendle Witch Country close to the Pennines and Yorkshire Dales. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the nearby hills, canals, historic towns and villages, and many other local beauty spots.

Colne is an ancient market town steeped in history (parts of the parish church date back to the 11th century). It is the birthplace of Wallace Hartley (bandmaster of the Titanic) and home of the Great British R&B Festival. The town was a mainstay of the Lancashire cotton industry and there is still much evidence of this around.

There are plenty of other places in and around Colne to visit during your stay with us. Boundary Mill is one the country's largest such stores and popular with people from across the north of England and beyond. Wycoller Country Park is a beautiful and secluded part of the Pennines with a rich history, cafe and walks for all the family. Haworth, a very pretty cobbled village famous as home of the Bronte Sisters, is only a short hop over the Pennines.
